About our bespoke service

Vintage Headdresses offer a full bespoke service. We can work with you to create the perfect headdress, tiara or jewellery accessory using specially sourced vintage materials.

Having a bespoke piece created just for you is a rewarding experience, enabling you to realise the accessory you have always dreamed of. It allows you to be involved in the creative process, resulting in a beautiful piece of jewellery which is not only inspired by your own ideas but which also reflects your distinct personality and style.

We can also create jewellery to complement your chosen headdress or hair accessory using a range of Swarovski crystals, freshwater or crystal pearls, diamante and quality components. This enables the bride to custom design all her jewellery ensemble for herself and her bridesmaids in one place.

Creating your bespoke piece

The first step is to contact us with your ideas and requirements. We will discuss your dress detailing, hairstyle, colour themes and any specific requirements you may have. Once we have discussed your ideas in detail, we will source some appropriate vintage pieces to incorporate into your chosen design. We will email you with details and photographs of these components and then provide quotes based upon your chosen pieces.

Once you have chosen your design, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required. Your bespoke piece is then intricately handcrafted within the timescale previously agreed with you (usually 5-10 weeks depending upon the design and detailing chosen). Once finished, the remaining balance will be due, and following payment your bespoke piece will be lovingly boxed and wrapped, and posted out to you via fully insured Special Delivery for you to enjoy.
