Rose Gold Bridal Headpieces

Rose Gold Bridal Headband

Rose Gold Bridal Headpieces and Accessories

A key wedding trend for 2016 is the soft glow of rose gold. Following on from the popularity of blush bridal dresses and accessories, rose gold metallics are being seen everywhere; from wedding cakes and venue decor, to shoes, bridesmaids, and most of all, accessories. We have created a collection of beautiful vintage rose gold bridal headpieces, all featuring rare vintage pieces, offset with rose gold Swarovski pearls and crystals. Below are a few ideas to provide inspiration to all you lovers of rose gold, along with some designs from our vintage rose gold bridal headpiece collection.

Rose gold decor adds softness and warmth. A sparkling table cloth, a carefully chosen cake or the glitter of warm golden glass accessories.

Rose gold headbands, bridal hair vines and headpieces continue the theme. The mix of silver and rose gold tones allows the headpiece to complement existing jewellery. We can also add in pure gold tones too, to create a wonderful soft mixed metallics effect. Each rose gold headpiece and hair vine is create around authentic vintage pieces; each one as unique as its wearer.

Rose gold bridal accessories, such as shoes, add delicate touches of the colour to an ivory dress. Bridal bouquets of rose gold and warm blush tones look soft and dreamy, and the current trend for mix and match bridesmaids in metallics looks amazing when including the warmth of rose gold.

We can create custom rose gold headpieces to match your wedding dress detailing, or just to bring to life your own vision of your dream headpiece. The beauty of rose gold and mixed metallics is that it works well with all hair tones. Have a look at our existing rose gold designs, or contact us so that we can work with you to create your perfect rose gold headpiece or hair vine hair accessory.

War and Peace Headband

War and Peace Headband

Latest War and Peace Headband Design.

Our latest War and Peace headband design is now available. Taking inspiration from the beautiful Regency headpiece worn by Lily James in the current War and Peace adaptation, this is our latest one-off vintage bridal headpiece to reflect the early 1800s Regency era. This beautiful silver vintage headband also has a Grecian feel, typical of many early 19th century headpiece designs. Delicate in  design, yet with just the right amount of drama.

As always, this vintage War and Peace headband design is unique, created around a rare 1940s rhinestone and pearl necklace piece, and offset with vintage glass pearls, diamante chain detailing and marquise diamantes. It is so easy and comfortable to wear, being set on a high-quality flexible headband, which adjusts perfectly to the head shape of the wearer.

I am currently working on a gold tone version of these War and Peace headband designs, created around an amazing rare vintage pave rhinestone piece, which will be available shortly.

Vintage Regency War and Peace Headpiece Designs

With the BBC’s new adaptation of Tolstoy’s epic War and Peace now on TV screens, I was inspired by the beautiful headpiece worn by the character Natasha (played by the beautiful Lily James) in the show, to create a range of one-off vintage Regency bridal headpieces. These Regency era headpieces also take influences from Greek, Georgian, Russian and Etruscan periods and cultures, as is typical of the early 1800’s era. I am really enjoying working on these gorgeous bridal headpiece designs.

Each one is unique and features rare vintage pieces, offset with Swarovski or vintage glass pearls, and marquise diamantes.

Here is a sneak peek at the first one, which is available now. This headpiece features an authentic early 1900’s bracelet piece within the design, and is so easy and comfortable to wear, being set on a high-quality flexible headband, which adjusts to head shape. The last two photos show the gorgeous War and Peace headpiece worn by Lily James in the new BBC War and Peace TV show, which provided the inspiration for my designs.

More vintage one-off Regency era War and Peace headpiece designs are currently in progress, and will be photographed and available to purchase very soon.

Happy New Year…..the future is rosy!

Happy New Year

As we roll in the New Year, I am looking back over 2015 and want to thank all my customers for choosing my designs again this year. I am so fortunate to love what I do for a living, and as well as enjoying designing my ready to wear pieces, I have loved creating some very special custom designs this year. I always enjoy working with so many wonderful brides to fulfil their visions and create their perfect bridal headpiece. Thank you all so much too for your wonderful feedback and the gorgeous photos from your weddings – receiving these is truly the very best part of my job.

Despite a hectic holiday season, I am now busy designing and creating some gorgeous pieces which will be available in early January. As well as several art deco headbands and circlet headpieces, I am also working on some Grecian and Roman inspired pieces, all created around authentic vintage and antique components, as always.

Rose gold and copper tones are expected to be a key trend for 2016, showing up in venue décor, dress embellishments and jewellery. I ADORE rose gold and am currently excitedly working on several gorgeous headpieces with rose gold tones, and here are some newly available to purchase.

Thank you all so much again for your continued support, and I wish you all a very happy, healthy and utterly fabulous 2016.
