Placing an order and payment:
To make a purchase simply use the "Buy Now" button to purchase your chosen piece, and once you have finished selecting, proceed to checkout. The secure PayPal shopping cart accepts payments via credit card, debit card or PayPal. For our international customers, the checkout system will automatically convert the purchase into your own currency for you.
Once we have received notification of your purchase we will email you to confirm said purchase and advise delivery details. Please note that a contract does not exist between us until we have confirmed acceptance of the order. This term is simply to protect us incase of product unavailability or pricing error. Should such an error have occurred we would of course refund you immediately.
Payments by cheque or postal order are also accepted. Email us to check availability. Please include the item number, a short description and the price of the piece you wish to order. Cheques should be made payable to C Bond and sent to:

Every design is a unique "one-off" and there is only one of each design available, unless otherwise stated.
Delivery within the UK and internationally:
Postage and packing within the UK is £7.95 via Special Delivery which includes full insurance. Items are lovingly wrapped in acid-free tissue for future preservation and beautifully boxed. We aim to despatch items (excluding bespoke or customised items) within 2 - 7 days of receipt of cleared payment. If you require your order urgently please let us know before ordering and we will do our utmost to accommodate your timescale. We also happily ship overseas to international customers. International fully insured shipping is £12.00 via Airsure or International Signed For mail. International orders will receive a separate emailed invoice after purchase for the additional £4.05 international shipping addition, or you can add this to your cart where indicated at the time of ordering. The "add to cart" shipping option for international orders can be found on the left of every product page.
Delivery timescales for bespoke or customised orders:
Delivery timescales for bespoke or customised orders will differ depending upon the details of the order and materials required. We aim to complete bespoke or customised orders within 5 -16 weeks, but accurate timescales for individual orders will be discussed as part of the bespoke ordering process.
Refunds & Returns:
We are certain that you will be delighted with your order from Vintage Headdresses. However, should you not be completely satisfied with your purchase, we will happily refund the total cost of your order, excluding all postage and packaging, on “ready to wear” goods returned within 7 days of receipt. Notice of intention to return must be received via email within 2 days of receipt and the item MUST be returned strictly within 7 days. NO returns are accepted after this period. Refunds will not be given for used goods under any circumstances, nor will returns be accepted after your wedding date has passed. All returns will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the goods.
Please note that a refund will not be given if products are returned marked or damaged in any way or are returned in a condition unsuitable for re-sale. Products not returned strictly within 7 days will not be refunded. Refunds will only be given if the item and all packaging (excluding external wrapping) is returned in the exact same condition as it was sent. For hygiene reasons we cannot offer a refund for pierced earrings.
We require that all goods are returned by Special Delivery in the UK (which is the only delivery method to provide insurance on jewellery items) as we cannot be responsible for any goods lost within transit upon their return to us. If the item is damaged or lost during transit the buyer will be responsible for claiming on insurance. Please address all returns to:

International returns must also be fully insured and sent via priority. International customers please note that if you are returning goods from outside the EU, you must complete and attach a customs form to the parcel stating that the package contains "returned goods". Should this not be done, and a customs fee levied on re-entry to the UK, we will refuse payment and the package will be returned to you. Do contact us if you have questions.
Please note that returns are not available on bespoke or customised items.
Vintage Condition:
We want you to be entirely satisfied with your purchase. All the vintage pieces used within the designs are in their original vintage condition. They have been selected for their beauty, character and appearance but may show some very slight signs of age. They are, after all, vintage, some more than 80 years old. There may be some minor wear to the plating of the piece or very minor foil spotting, age-related dullness or chips to occasional stones. All diamante stones, crystals and pearls will be intact but some very detailed marcasite pieces may be missing tiny marcasite virtually unnoticeable without a jeweller’s loupe. These will not detract from the beauty of the piece or we would not use them. Flaws will be minor but please do ask any relevant questions about the items which interest you prior to ordering. Particularly aged pieces will be stated as “aged”. Consequently, the price of pieces will have been adjusted accordingly.
