Art Deco Fan Headband
Beautiful vintage 1920’s art deco fan headband, created from three exquisite, and very rare, authentic 1920’s vintage art deco paste rhinestone pieces.
The extraordinary side detail is created from three repurposed authentic art deco pieces. An incredible large 1920’s fanned brooch, an early 1920’s shoe buckle centrepiece and a 1920’s smaller triangular dress clip have been brought together to create the striking side feature on this beautiful design. A delicately embellished band of the finest ivory Swarovski pearls, diamantes and silver glass bead-work complements the side detail perfectly.
The design can be wore with the side detail on either side of the head.
The slim flexible headband is extremely comfortable to wear as it easily adjusts to your head shape. It is self-supporting, but I have also added discreet pinning loops at each end of the band so that it can be firmly secured in place using grips/hairpins, if desired.
The design features masses of sparkling pave-set and baguette stones, with gorgeous geometric and fanned detailing, typical of the art deco era. The vintage pieces used in this design are exceptional, with such wonderful and intricate detailing and shaping.
This incredible one-of-a-kind headpiece is even more beautiful in person, and is destined to become a treasured family heirloom, handed down through generations to come.
